This project involved the full refurbishment of a duplex flat, reimagined as a contemporary home defined by clarity, balance, and understated elegance. Spanning three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a reception room, a staircase re-design, and a terrace, the design refines the existing layout while introducing new flooring throughout to create a cohesive and continuous base across the home.

Developed in a modern minimalist language, the interiors prioritise clean lines, functional planning, and a sense of visual lightness. Bespoke joinery was carefully designed to accommodate the client’s collections of books, records, and guitars, allowing personal items to be seamlessly integrated into the architecture. Furniture and finishes were selected in a restrained, tactile palette, with an emphasis on elevated pieces that enhance flow and openness.

The studio delivered a full design and project service from concept through to site supervision, procurement, installation, and final styling. Both bathrooms were completely redesigned with a contemporary yet warm sensibility, combining subtle contrasts, integrated storage, and refined detailing. The result is a calm, cohesive home that feels tailored, timeless, and quietly expressive.
